I used ‘girls’ because they’re immature enough to expect this from a guy. They want men to protect them, buy stuff for them, take them places, stick up for them, treat them like a ‘princess’, take the blame for everything, tell them sweet things all the fucking time, to only think about them, to never lie, and all this other shit. I don’t need a man to protect me, I can protect myself. I don’t need a man to buy me things, I have fucking money to buy my own shit. I don’t need a man to take me places, I have fucking legs of my own. I don’t need a man to stick up for me, I have a mouth and a mind of my own. I don’t need a man to feel like a princess. I don’t need a man to take the blame for everything, because I can admit my wrongs when necessary. I don’t need a man to tell me sweet things all the time, because that is not what a relationship should be built on. I don’t need a man to only have me on their mind all the time, because there are a million other things they can think about besides me all the time. And good luck finding a guy who will ‘never’ lie to you. Everyone lies to everyone, even small little worthless white lies. Seriously, all you should ever need from your man is love. Love comes along with patience, trust, understanding, forgiveness, comfort, loyalty, and other immaterial things. Stop expecting ‘Prince Charming’ or fucking Romeo to come and sweep you off your feet because men aren’t like that. Just wait for a guy who will fall in love with you. That’s all you really need.
